My name is Shoaib Ahmed and I am from Spring, Texas; born in Anchorage, Alaska. In high school, I was involved in the varsity orchestra as a cellist, president of the Mu Alpha Theta and Science National Honor Societies, the captain of our Academic Decathlon team, and an active peer tutor. I plan to major in mechanical engineering, although I am interested in a wide array of subjects, not necessarily related to the engineering. My hobbies include playing professional competitive Pokemon and solving the Rubik’s Cube.
