Project Description
Hi! I’m Elsbeth and I’m from Sugar Land, TX (a suburb of Houston). I’m actively involved in my church, school, and community. I’m president of my school’s orchestra, where I play the violin, and I’m a member of Spanish Honor Society, Girl Up, and the Math and Science Academy. Over the past few years, I’ve served kids in remote areas of Mexico and impoverished areas of Houston, and those kids will forever have my heart. In addition, I’ve done research at the University of Houston in biomedical engineering and neuroscience. At the moment, my experiences have led me to major in biology and pursue a career as a pediatrician. I enjoy exploring the world and understanding the different cultures of the people around me and I’m always excited for what life has in store. Fun fact: I haven’t really grown since 8th grade but there’s nothing 3″ heels cant fix! 🙂
